I leave my PC on almost all the time. In the morning I use it before school, and nothing is wrong.
Then, when I leave for school, I turn the monitor off and leave the PC on. When I get back from school and turn the monitor back on, I see the mouse pointer and that's it. Just black. Control+Alt+Delete does nothing.
Help?

i don't think so, this just recently has started happening. I have a fan, should I point it towards the computer?

Turn off the option to turn off monitor and screen saver, your turning off your monitor anyway.
Is it a graphics card or intergrated? If so what is the card? Is it plugged in all the way?? Are the 12V cables plugged in?
If you can see the mouse cursor, it's most likely a software problem, not a hardware problem. Try booting in safe mode. Does that work?
The OS must be having trouble coming back from the screensaver. How patient were you with waiting for something to happen before restarting?
