Ok I am on a very low budget and i need to choose a new graphics card for my build and i am willing to choose between a 9800 GTX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130339&cm_re=9800-_-14-130-339-_-Product and a 250 GTS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130514&cm_re=250-_-14-130-514-_-Product witch one would be more cost effective?
5770. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161317&cm_re=5770-_-14-161-317-_-Product
The 5770 would be most cost effective. [editline]05:36PM[/editline] Ninja'd :ninja:
how much more fps would i get in game like lets say BFBC2?
how much more fps would i get in game like lets say BFBC2?
Probably around 15. May be even more. I'm unsure.
Probably around 15.
What would i get with normally, fps wise, with a 9800 GTX or a 250 GTS?

But the 5770 is much much cheaper. So that would be your cost effective GPU.

But the 5770 is about $20 more than the 250 GTS
But the 5770 is about $20 more than the 250 GTS
Pretty sure he meant a 5750.
But the 5770 is about $20 more than the 250 GTS
GTS. 250. Motherfucker.
The 5770 stomps all over the GTS250(aka 9800GTX aka OC'd 9800 aka rebranded 8800) in most games.
The 5770 stomps all over the GTS250(aka 9800GTX aka OC'd 9800 aka rebranded 8800) in most games.
The GTS 250 is smaller than both the 9800 and 8800, it consumes less power than the two, and only requires one 6-pin power connector. With this in mind it still has a small boost to performance with the higher clock, and is also cheaper than the 9800 (something nVidia need to rectify). Small changes, but changes nontheless, and changes for the better.
Small changes, but changes nontheless, and changes for the better.
and yet you still have ATi fanfaggots crying "it's just another rebrand"
You can get a 5770 512MB for less than the evga gts250
You can get a 5770 512MB for less than the evga gts250
When I bought my GTS 250 1gb it cost me £130, the 5770 512 would have set me back £140. I think I knew where the better deal was. [editline]10:02PM[/editline] If it matters its a BFGtech OC'd one too.
