Suspicious files were copied to my computer via a friend's flash drive. I tried to delete them, but I get a message saying access is denied. I went to the security tab and changed permissions over to my account, but no luck. My anti-virus program (F-Secure) isn't detecting anything though.
There is a secret administrative account that you can get that allows you to do virtually anything, this account shouldn't be used for every purposes, you can delete ANYTHING.

Or you can replace sethc.exe with cmd.exe (copy and rename) and log off. Once you're at the log in screen, press shift five times (sticky keys) and a command prompt will come up with system level access. Definitely opens a security vulnerability if someone is physically on your machine, but otherwise VERY helpful.
No luck with either of those. I should mention that this is most likely a virus (despite F-Secure not detecting it), seeing how my oh-so-smart friend got it from piratebay.

and do a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware & Spybot S&D once you're done deleting.
