So just about two weeks ago I installed a new quad core CPU, but ever since then my computer has been randomly freezing up on me. I'll just be doing something, or nothing at all, and the computer will just freeze. No warning, shutdowns, beeps, or anything. It just freezes and I can never get out of it, forcing me to manually restart.
The CPU in question I installed is a AMD Phenom II x4 3.0Ghz. I never had these problems until I installed it, but all of my hardware is compatible with it. Does anybody have any ideas?
Check and make sure you're not using any major 32-bit drivers. This kept happening to me once, but then I fixed it when I found that an incompatible graphics driver was causing it.

Aight, I'll try that, but I can't really recall when I ever installed a 32bit driver for any major system.
Is PSU powerful enough?
Edit: Dangit, I forgot to read!
try reinstalling chipset drivers and/or checking your cpu temp
