It's a solid video game that wasn't the sequel people were expecting. That said I'm excited as hell since it has a chance of coming to PC i.e. I can actually play it unlike Bloodborne.

Soul memory is not an issue anymore with the agape ring added in the scholar patch back in February.

Dark Souls 2 was a really good game, but it wasn't the sequel to Dark Souls 1 that the average player would expect. I'd personally love it if we got Dark Souls 1 level design, visual themes and gameplay mechanics combined with Dark Souls 2's UI upgrades and general quality of life fixes. But it's not likely to come out on PC so I'm not touching it anyways.

The thing I'm hoping for the most is for the game to not be capped at 30 fps like Bloodborne. DSfix and DaS2 spoiled me.

DSII is a solid video game.[/QUOTE] I think I have a good standard for whether or not a game is bad. Is it worse or equally as unenjoyable as Sonic 06? If no, it's not a bad game.

Because that title isn't misinformation or anything. Its 'Dark Souls 3 leaks' not leaked. Leaked makes it sound like the actually game leaked out. Not just information.

why do people think miyazaki is on board? i mean i want to believe it but is it even possible he was/is working on bloodborne + dlc and dark souls 3 at the same time? either way i'm so pumped for another souls game.

If anything I actually want more of a Demon's Souls feel, then again Bloodborne does exactly that. Demon's Souls was the best souls game IMO.

Keeping my hopes up. Also greatsword confirmed, looks more like DS1 greatsword -> Tarkus pls

I really don't want another graphics downgrade with Dark Souls 3. Make it look like Bloodborne pls.

Soul memory is a mechanic that was pretty dumb in execution, but it didn't singlehandedly ruin 2 or anything.
