Who is your favorite rapper? Eminem (mine personally) or Lil' Wayne?
Both are equally as shitty :downs:
Neither
Clearly the only two rappers out there
Neither
Well then you suck! :P
That's like putting a small pile of shit against a huge pile of shit. You don't want either on your carpet.
They're both pretty good. I prefer most of Lil Wayne's songs over Eminem's, but I like Eminem's production quality better if that makes sense. Lil Wayne's beats usually sound like they were made by amateurs.
Maybe I'm just ill educated though.
B.o.B. is my favorite rapper of all time though. :v:
Also, what happened to the if you don't like it don't post?
Seriously, if you don't give a fuck or think both are shit, just get out of the thread.
Eminem, and only for his older stuff.
Lil' Wayne is just a huge fucking tool.
Eminem sounds the same every damn song, and Lil' Wayne sounds like he's got throat cancer.
That being said, I listen to them both time to time.
Eminem's first lot of albums were pure gold, then came Relapse which was pretty shit IMHO, then Recovery was even worse. I've never really listened to Lil' Wayne a lot because his voice just annoys me.
Eminem for his first albums. Eminem Show, for example, is just great...
don't blame me i voted lil way
Probably Eminem because I prefer his razor sharp wit and casual misoginy
Yeah Eminem has some truly brilliant songs that get across the message really well, and his rhymes are just genius.
at least Eminem used to be pretty good, lil wayne on the other hand...
But seriously their collaboration is pure bullshit.

The rule was removed?
Eminem is a better rapper but I'd pick Lil Wayne every time, Eminem's angry misogynistic whiteboy schtick really grates on me.

Really? That's sort of what I liked about him, it set him apart from the majority of other rappers. Although I can agree that he's been tooting the same horn for a while now.
Relevant: why do people feel the need to mention lil wayne in the comments of every rap song/video on youtube
why is he the one every rapper has to be compared to

well rap music in the mainstream, for most toe-dippers at least, pretty much boils down to Eminem or lil Wayne. Of course there's the people that listen to Cudi and Kanye, but Lil Wayne is the one pretty much everyone has heard a song by.

i'd have thought kanye is the bigger rapper

Lil' Wayne all the way.
i'd have thought kanye is the bigger rapper
Bigger? Yeah. Better? Probably but I know quite a few people who find his brand of hip-hop too pretentious. I personally love it, he's kind of the Bono of the hip-hop world, Great artist but a bit of a cunt.
i'd have thought kanye is the bigger rapper
Kanye has a lot of crossover appeal, but if we're just going by hip hop fans then Weezy is probably the biggest guy out there right now.
I've never heard one song by Lil' Wayne. I used be really big on Eminem and maintain his early albums are great, but I can't really compare. Perhaps if I listened to Lil' Wayne it would be a truly cosmic experience for me

listen to drop the world
Lil' Wayne has a super annoying voice, so Eminem which I also dislike is my favorite of the two.
I respect Eminem more because he's the best freestyler I've ever seen, and Wayne is just a repulsive moron that can't freestyle for shit. In terms of song quality, they're both even to me with Eminem's newer albums, Relapse and Recovery.
Infinite was Eminem's first album, just listen to "Infinite" from Infinite, :v:, and tell me you aren't amazed. Recently he's been a kind of a sellout though, and Lil Wayne has some okay songs but he's just another materialistic rapper to me. Eminem has so much emotion in his lyrics, or used to, to some people.

lil wayne's lyrics are better than people give him credit for, he has some pretty clever lines
Hmm, I think I'll choose Lil wayne.
