I am in need for a new keyboard, mouse and mousemat if you were too retarded to read the title. I have a budget upwards of £90. Good for gaming, and MUST be wired. I have no brand preference what-so-ever so an added plus. Please use http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/home.html for this (as i get free next day delivery :mmmhmm:)
Oh, and no shit storms and keyboard/mouse-based fanboy shit of clashing opinions and general dickery, because I will just ignore everything you say.
Well this is what I use and I find it perfectly comfortable:
Keyboard : Standard black thing from Argos
Mouse: Razer Lachesis - Like the look, feel and has plenty of buttons to customise :3 (and pulsates blue) also has good sensitivity options for fast changing.
M.Mat: Some huge one I got which I got YEARS ago from gamestation, it's perfect. I think it's called SAS Steel.
did you read his post
No I just closed my eyes, clicked a thread and decided to post what keyboard, mouse and mousemat I use and holy fuck the thread is about that.
I was just saying what I use and he can find 2/3 things I have on that website.
So what you bitching at?

Christ bunch of whiney gits or what. I was just telling him what I used so he may look at them himself and decide if they were for him or not.
Is it that hard to understand or do people just find that they have to bitch about everything and de-rail the thread

If you are looking to pay that much for a mouse then check the Razers out, more buttons, generally look nicer, better DPI and are comfy.
Well this is what i might be getting;

You can't go wrong with the Logitech G110 keyboard. Cylinder volume control is beast.

Doesn't anyone read the op? He's on a budget people.
Though the logitech G500 is a good choice, as for keyboard :siren:expensive keyboards are a gimmick rip-off and are completely useless.:siren: With mice, paying a little extra goes a long way as you get nice, durable mice with good dpi settings and extra buttons which can be quite handy in games.
With keyboards if you pay extra you get extra buttons which are pretty useless most of the time (either being out of reach or just being useless media buttons that can just as easily be hotkeyed to one of the many unused keys) and no noticeable increase in durability unless you have rage issues and smash your keyboard to the wall every time you lose. Pretty much as far as keyboards go anything over £20 is a waste of money as long as you stick with good brands like logitech and such. I wouldn't recommend spending too much on mice either. Geez guys, there is very little increase in performance between a £30 mouse and a £80. Even less so for keyboards.
Stop being idiots and being succored in to marketing, with these peripherals you don't get more (not much anyway) if you pay more.
There are so many things wrong with that post it isn't even funny.
Would you care to explain instead of just saying the popular opinion to get ratings?
I was talking about keyboards marketed as gaming keyboards (G15, saitek eclipse etc), not mechanical ones.
I have never tried a mechanical one so I can't speak for that, I'm sure they're great but if a £130 G19 isn't a giant ripoff, I don't know what is.
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/Peripherals/MiceandTrackballs/910-000616.html
Great mouse for gaming.
Yeah but that's very little you're getting for so much more money. Money you COULD spend on something nicer, like a game. Or save it for a larger purchase of something fun.
So then what to get?

This badass motherfucker. $15, nice type feel and awesome durability.
I could equip a livingroom lan party with these for the price of one gimmicky bullshit "gaming" keyboard.
:psyduck:
True but my point still stands. silicone dome keyboards over $20-30 bux are a waste of money.
I never contested that.
Then we agree, now to spread the word.
I use the steel series mousepad that others have posted. It's fantastic. Its just the right feel that a mousepad should have.
Well I ordered the G500 and the mousemat, as for the keyboard, I'm going to shop around for some mechanical ones. Thanks for helping

Explain why they are shit.
Get a Logitech G11/15/19 keyboard and a Logitech MX518
They're great for games etcetera, and they last forever.
For mousemat just go with that steelseries QcK you linked earlier.
