• A+ Certification Exam

Currently I'm taking an A+ class at my high school, since it's quite an easy A. Well in May, 10 the students who volunteered to take the first exam which is the essentials 601 will go. I'm a part of that group. Now I have a few questions, what should I expect on the test? I understand that it's randomized but I need a better way to study my weak point which is networking other than just the book. I've done relatively well on my practice exams so I'm wondering if there's much to worry about. My 602 exam is going to be on May, 20 but I'm sure I'll have time to study for it. Hopefully this is the right section to ask these questions.
Make sure you know printers inside and out. At least that's what I needed to focus on back when I took it, computers and any kind of computer hardware was breezy. Printers, eh not so interesting.
I think there are a lot of prep tests online. When I took my A+ class we did practice tests with some program.
My brother took the A+ certification exam a few weeks ago. Finished in 4 minutes and got 94%.

I'm anticipating that I might get complicated questions so I'm studying often for it.
Make sure you know printers inside and out. Wow, looking at some practice exams this exam sounds like shit The LIM memory specification was developed by which three major manufactures? The original 808x processor could only access how much RAM?

May 10 is my birthday.
Try pass4sure, that's how I did for cisco exams
May 10 is my birthday.
Oh snap!
Sorry for the bump however I took it today and failed... By one question. I still have another voucher and I'm ordering another for a total of two again, this time I'm booking down and studying a bit more.
That's not very nice.
if you fail the a+ exam then you're an idiot.

The A+ certification exam is actually pretty specific with certain things. I got like half of them, mainly about monitors and some on networking.
Yeah I hate specifics, I'm more of a practical technician where I just make things work. I don't go into detail and format shit via CMD, I take the easy way most of the time. Well I'll hit the books and practice exams for a few days then go take the exam again. I was so damn disappointed when I saw I missed it by just one question, this time I'll destroy that test and try to get 750+.

Wish you the best of luck :tiphat:
Wish you the best of luck :tiphat:
Thanks!
Good thing you're looking into it now, because after this year, you have to get your A+ Cert. recertified every three years! Good luck on the test, hope you do well!
Thanks, people from my class were expecting me to pass the first time with no problem. So this test will determine how easy I can get a job and retain my dignity. I was the only one in my class who managed to get the closest score to passing, a 670 and passing is 675.
pass4sure was great for the technician A+ test i have the essentials in about a week and a half
I got 98% On that test. What a coincidence.
I just took the test today. Make sure you memorize cable lengths and pin counts. Know the correct procedures for backups and there are some confusing worded questions designed to trick you. I got an 807.
Once again another bump, passed with a 764! Now I need to get ready for the next one.
