This game's rough but it's good fun. The combat is based around rock, paper, scissors melee combat, Smash, Grab, and Defend. Smash beats Grab, Grab beats Defend, and Defend beats Smash. It's like playing the Warriors and a class based objective type game. The explanation for this game is kinda weird. Two Teams, East and West. Six players a game, Three per team. Each player picks from one of 7(soon to be 9) leaders. Each leader has MOBA like skills that work on cooldowns, and can only use the type of weapon they are specialized with. Heavy melee, light melee, and ranged weapons. Then they select one of 13(soon to be 18) Lieutenants that each give different perks, bonuses, and strengths. Then they pick a group of three foot soldiers, a ranged, heavy, and lightly armed soldiers. (2 melee, 1 ranged.) Meaning each player is in charge of 5 characters. For a grand total of 3 players and 12 NPCS per team, giving each game 30 combatants. The teams fight over looting stores that carry various products ranging from jewelry(Boost weapon damage;fire, bleed), chemicals(Create status effects; slow, poison), and electronics(Boost weapon efficiency; sonic, stun). Small stores are worth $2500, medium stores are worth $5000, and big stores are worth $10,000. Stronger weapons spawn in stores that unlock as the match progresses. There are only 3 copies of each weapon type per round. Meaning only 3/6 players can upgrade per round. Going from spawn to round 3: Light weapons go Pipe, Hammer, Machete, then Tactical Sword Heavy weapons go Nail Board, Shovel, Axe, then Sledge Hammer Ranged weapons go Nail Gun, Super Nail Gun, Crossbow, then Shotgun On top of this, each weapon can be upgraded by going down one of two routes usually, but they must be crafted using components found in stores. First team to $50,000 wins the game. Games last around 15-20 mins. The game is fun, needs a few more players. The game has nice chunky melee executions, and there's just as much murder, as looting, there's something for every rioter. These developers are the same people that made Sleeping Dogs. They dropped Triad Wars to try their hand at this.
