wat
It's hand made.
supply and demand
No idea but what is the connection at the end?
Probably because it uses an LFH connection instead of a regular DVI, it allows you to connect four monitors to the card.

The white plug on the rear of the card? That's a molex for power.

Why is it eight and a half inches long?
must have a lot of wood screws

holy fuuuuuck
Wait, so the idea is that you're supposed to fit four monitors about four inches away from the card?
Wait, so the idea is that you're supposed to fit four monitors about four inches away from the card?
Since each monitor would probably have a cord that is at least two-to-three feet long, yes four inches.

Wait shit, didn't realize those were extension cables.
Look at the bright side you have $10 bucks!
If I'm blowing $200 on an 8400GS, I'm not going to be able to afford the four monitors I can attach to it
I don't know which of you is stupid, but I'm blazed :/
I don't know which of you is stupid, but It's probably me just being dumb while blazed. Cause I am always stupid at this time. :/
You're cool for telling us that. Cause. We're all like, "Oh, he's so cool because he's blazed while he's on the internet! I wish I was just like him!"

that's how long video cards were before dx10 cards
hey, It's a PCI model, NOT A PCIE MODEL
New nvidia cards need this too, at reasonable price.
Yeah why don't any other cards use this? It looks really useful.
How would buying anything for $200 inhibit your purchase of 4 monitors...
That said it is a very idea, similar maybe to eyefinity? Does the computer actually detect 4 outputs or is it more like connecting S-Video and 2 DVI's (only allows for two monitors tops).
It's a PCI model, thus not many people buy them.
This is brilliant. As other people have mentioned, why hasn't this become standardized yet?

its costly
its costly
I don't think its really the cost I think it's just demand. The regular computer-joe that wants multi monitor support could just use any card as they all come equipped with dual monitor support anyway. These cards with LFH60/DMS59 connections are usually used in workstations, rarely do normal consumers need a card that supports 4 (LFH60) or 2 (DMS59) monitors from one conenction. If you really wants this stuff you can get older Quadro cards with LFH60 support from eBay for under $20 usually. Though if you want newer hardware, especially Quadros, then you're going to be shelling out quite a bit of cash. It depends what kind of power you want really.

Yeah.
But an 8400 isn't a powerful card to begin with. The things you would need 4 monitors for don't seem like that would go over well on an 8400.

After spending that kind of money on such a shitty card, I'm going to be too poor and retarded to buy any monitors.
Yeah.

Then you obviously have no idea that there is an entire world of computers outside of gaming that are used for tools, their original purpose to begin with. My friend's dad runs a business producing software from home, and he has 3 23" monitors in his office. He's running on a Pentium 4 with some simplistic workstation card, and it's more than enough power for the massive windows he has open because they're hardly rendering anything.
