I don't need help getting back, because I know all about how to do that. The thing is I want to know how I can make sure this never happens again. I had a pretty unique password on the account and the only way someone could have taken it is if they did something. Soo what measures should I take to make sure this doesn't happen again?
Don't tell anybody your password and don't download programs that have keyloggers in them.
Dont put your password anyware but seam websites

Antivirus, but you most likely entered your username/password on a phishing site.
Windows Key + R (RUN)
OSK
Type your password using that.
Every.
Time.
Okay the guy who stole my steam account somehow has the passwords I have used for every single website. He just showed me. Ugh.

Actually, wait.
Someone knows all your passwords, and you spend your time posting this on facepunch?

Don't use the same/ similar passwords then :downs: And don't get keyloggers :downs::downs:
Yeah, Wouldn't the more sensible thing to be go to a friends house and use their computer to change evry password you have? Ratehr than wasting time posting on facepunch.
Advice: Get a decent AV.
Alright, what should I make sure that this keylogger is gone?
Example of what he showed me:
Firefox 3http://www.facepunch.comgerard***********
*'s are my password.

Well the reason I'm posting on facepunch is because I thought you guys could give me some suggestions on what programs I can run to make sure he can't see any of my pw's, I'm talking to the guy right now and all he wants is my steam account. Which I can get back quite easily.
1) Get a antivirus, and a bot/malware scanner like Spybot S&D
2) Run them in Safe mode
3) kill keyloggers
4) Change passwords
5) ???
6) Profit
Alright well I'm going to be downloading a different anti-virus called Avast right now, and I'll run Spybot S&D and all that then change my passwords.

Am I able to have more than one Anti-Virus without any problems being caused?

As long as only one is set for real-time scanning / protection / whatever then you're fine.

Also try Malwarebytes

Also once you download + install + update your antivirus and antispyware programs it would be a good idea to disconnect from the internet until you clean out the keyloggers, just so the guy doesn't get a chance to grab any more information from you.
