Luckily only a handful of its 100 users were harmed.
The word "stupid" comes to mind...
This article is a bit misleading. The key allowed *any* .google.com address, including google.com, to be signed and forged as legitimate. On the plus side, if you're using Chrome or IE on Windows 8, you already got the revocation of the bad certificate.
