The site's source further says that GTA 6 is currently in development. That's no surprise given that Grand Theft Auto 5 was released more than two years ago, and Rockstar was open about it years ago. Though they added that no setting for the game has yet been nailed down.
I want them to make the new GTA in a small rural town, possibly the heroin driven communities of northern New England or like a medium sized town in Alaska.
But no it's probably going to be a Vegas knock off or something - calling it
Please don't make it another multiplayer cashgrab R*... or is that asking for too much
GTA in Tokyo would have been amazing. damn.
anyways, its going to be vice city
GTA VI(CE)

They have small rural towns of heroin driven communities in GTA 5, no reason to isolate the entire game to that.
I just want fun multiplayer and a shooting system like Max Payne....I'm really excited for GTA 6

I sure hope it's a Vegas knock off or something, a GTA in just a small rural town would be terrible.
RDR </3

Yeah, what a boring idea. It needs to stay in a city like Vegas/LA/NY.

As long as it's not entirely russian slums I'm sure it'll be fine.
This was a given and i wouldnt be surprised if they where working on it during GTA5's development. Or at least the rerelease on the PS4 and the Xbox One.
And as much as it would be interesting to see a new GTA game without being limited to having to resort to all kinds of witchcraft and space gypsy magic to make the game work on ancient old hardware. I would really like them to unveil Agent at some point. Surely thats being developed still?
Oh, and dont forget about crouching and don't skimp out on the gunplay for christ sake. And if you could not make the Online boring as all fuck that would really be good but at that point im just kidding myself.
I just hope the game is done when it releases (with all the advertised game modes and everything). I pretty much gave up on GTA V with all the bullshit surrounding its launch.
I really hope it's vice city, I loved GTA vice city so much, but I don't know how they could do another one. I mean they could do a modern setting for it but I dunno, would still be cool though. Would be better if they cover more of Florida than just Miami.
I just want Vice done today, god I'd be so beautiful. All that neon UGH :speedfap:
Hopefully they'll focus on one protagonist again. They didn't really handle spreading out V's story over three different people, and none of it really had much impact.
RDR </3
RDR was developed by Rockstar San Diego, GTA is developed by Rockstar North. San Diego did some additional work on GTA V but at this stage they're probably working on something else, so don't give up hope.
I mean, Red Dead Redemption was as rural as you could get and that game was pretty slick. Maybe It wouldn't fit the GTA series but I'd love to see a modern adaptation of that where I can jack some dudes 1997 Subaru outback and get away from the police tractor

I remember hearing that they had plans of an overseas GTA after this one, but that was back when 5 was in developement.
I wouldn't mind seeing one made in New England. They could make a replica of the state of Maine, which would give a great variety. The terrain is everything from flat with marsh, mountainous, to where the coast is.
South has a decent population, with everything from cocaine, bath salts, meth, alcohol, etc. North is very sparsely populated, mostly just pot and alcohol issues.
With all the snow and the mud season after, it'd introduce a new element to GTA that hasn't been explored too much.
GTA ICELAND
San Fierro would be my first choice.
SAN FRANCISCO HYPE
Wasn't there supposed to be some GTA5 Story DLC?
I really hope the multiplayer is something close to what SA:MP is
Like easily moddable, easy to create custom gamemodes, free-roam etc, multiple servers on a server browser.
Also make singleplayer co-op

Russian GTA would actually be pretty cool if it was like Mother Russia Bleeds, all gulags and weird sex slave nightclubs and shit

Yeah Tokyo sounds amazing. I don't know if it's just me, but I'm getting sort of bored of the recycled settings of recent GTA games. I'd be pretty disappointed if it was in somewhere we've already been.
Re-post from another thread, but I think it fits here better:
Here's what GTA VI should be:
SETTING - VICE CITY, but bigger, more expansive, everglades, hillbillies, crocs, swamps, airboats, and of coarse, Vice City itself.
CONTEXT - basically Vice City, but here's the catch - the game's story will be played in two different timelines: in the 80's (80's cars, clothing, tech, music, etc.) and in modern times (modern cars, clothing, tech, music, etc.). When you switch to the different time periods, you see a fast-forward through time as architecture, cars, clothing styles, road-ways, and people change.
The game will also feature multiple characters, connected through the times. An example: in the 80's you play as Character A, but in modern times, you play as Character B who is working with a much older Character A.
With this set-up, you give fans the best of both worlds: time period (80's) set GTA game and a modern day GTA game, set in one of the most favored GTA locations, but with much much more.
I've had this idea in my head for a while now, but haven't expressed it before.
I would so love a GTA set in China or Japan following 2 or 3 characters from different local/international gangs

lol, they're making millions selling shark cards, they won't compromise the fremium online model they have
Going back to Liberty city or going to a different country entirely would be amazing tbh

Could you imagine being in the Midnight Club or something? That would be the coolest thing ever.
