What do you think?
Constructive critisism always welcome.
Awesome shots.
I wouldn't say 3 pictures are thread worthy though.
cant tell what i am looking at in the 2nd pic. Others are great though.

For me, that was kind of the point of the picture. To have something abstract. Each to their taste though. Thanks for the feedback! :)

The first photograph is that awesome, it is thread worthy, but we have to use our initiative here.
Great shots h2o, now use apples :3:
Actually, I'll PM you soon regarding the first image, I would love a print of that!
Artistic for you sir.
May I set this as my phone wallpaper?
Oh and artistic for you.
Amazing
Just to let you know I'm adding these on my Zune.
loved the second one, though I know not everyone appreciates abstract photos.
Also, I think these three photos are thread-worthy, unlike tugger. I've seen single pictures of far less quality being posed as thread-worthy, so why not.
It's fresh!
Thanks everyone, and go ahead and add it to your phone / mp3 player / desktop, whatever you'd like. Just remember where you got it from, if anyone feels like asking ;)
Jamie, just PM me, and I'll just change the picture a bit (in full you can see the cut-out I did to preserve the colour of the strawberry from becoming too dark due to change of brightness of the background. :)
Made a change to it. Removed the line on the strawberry, and cleaned up in the water.
Just out of interest how did you do them? They do look very professional so was wondering whether you used professional kit.
Most possibly as standard as you can get (almost).
1 x Tripod
1 x Camera supporting low shutter times (in my case, a DSLR Canon EOS 1000D / Rebel XS)
1 x Any transparent filter for the lens to protect from water
1 x Fruitcolouring
1 x Pack of strawberries
1 x Champagne-glass
1 x Remote control (optional)
I put the DSLR on the tripod, and set it close to the kitchen counter. Made sure everything was perfectly sharp before I started (just with the strawberry inside of the glass, then adjusting focus MANUALLY). Then I used the hot shoe flash (in built one) and made sure my camera was HORIZONTAL, since else I'd get ugly shadows on one side of the glass, whereas if I use the camera without any rotation, there's only a shadow in the back of the glass, which is a lot easier to remove with photoshop. I then proceeded to set my camera to "Manual" mode, and F4.5 as F-stop, 1/200 as exposure time, and ISO 100. Plugged the remote (cheap one from ebay) to the camera, as it's easier for me to press it rather than the one on the camera. Then simply be ready, drop the strawberry and in the moment it hits the water, press the shutter button and hope for the best. Adjust focus a little if it seems blurry. I also used a Polarising because I lacked an UV filter (filter only used to not get the fruit colour on the lens). Then when it came into photoshopped I marked around the important bits (all the bubbles, and of course the whole glass with the splash), and deleted everything else in the background, (as my apartments kitchen has some tiles that would look very ugly on this photo, and due to the lack of a grey backdrop), and replaced it with a faint blue/white gradient that centered the white in the middle. I also rotated the glass of course, to make sure it was a vertical picture rather than horizontal.
You're welcome! ;)

Very interesting.
Crystal clear, nice sharp colours.
I'd certainly put a print of either on my wall.
Glass in first pic seems to indent a little however.
I like the third,
Rated artistic and informative, respectively.
that is awesome.
The second one is amazing.
hmm, i just noticed at the first picture, you can see on the bottom at the glass its pretty bulky, kinda disturbed the picture abit.
awwe, i was hoping it was with milk..
but it's still super awesome!! have a piece of wood with color on it
Very nice.
The third one is rather surreal, there's just something about it. It stands out.
The other shots are okay.
I like the last one the best. I think it's the shape of the leaves and the strawberry that make it work.
I tried to re-create the first one.

That's cool! Glad I inspired you! :D
The bottom of the glass looks a bit odd, but I really like the plash in this picture. I would have the strawberry stand out a bit more, and for gods sake, make sure not to cut away any splash in the top. I know it's hard to estimate, but then try to photoshop it away, as many would complain about this. Great picture none the less! :) Did you use blur fruit colouring too? ;)
:) Not bad berryman13, you've recreated it well.
The error with the splash on the top is something I've done myself, and I had some "negative"-ish feedback on it because of it :) :
