Dizzee Rascal has created some absolutely brilliant music, he relates to everyone from the local charity case to the billionaires of the world. He has already touched the heart of millions and it is now time for his epic prose to reach the hearts of Facepunch. Enjoy responsibly.
Dizzee has been reasonably big in the UK for years now. I remember back in the day when he was a pioneer of Grime along with Wiley, Kano and the rest. Good times... His first album, 'Boy In Da Corner' won a mercury award, and was actually really good. I agree with the recommendation but these selection of songs don't do him justice. Dizzee is fucking awesome. Sirens, I Luv U, Bonkers and Fix Up Look Sharp are tunes.
Yesss he is one of the truly good rappers of today.
Although I don't listen to him regularly, when I do listen to his songs I enjoy them. Sirens and Fix Up, Look Sharp are probably my favourites.

I'm ashamed to enjoy his music when it comes on. But what I'm not ashamed to admit is to like his old stuff like Jus' a Rascal

No offense to the man, but how can he be a musical pioneer if his first album came out only 6 years ago?
No offense to the man, but how can he be a musical pioneer if his first album came out only 6 years ago?
How can it he be a musical pioneer if hes a rapper... (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - Perfumly))
No offense to the man, but how can he be a musical pioneer if his first album came out only 6 years ago?
why not? Is there a rule you have to be a crusty old man to be a musical pioneer? As for people who don't like rap, find some music you do like then and stop bitching.
Never ever call any one person "the musical pioneer of today's generation". For one you look like a small minded twit who doesn't realise there are other genres with their own pioneers.
but here in the Uk he's very popular with a huge audience, so you could probably say he is one pioneer of today's generation.
never said he wasn't a pioneer in his field. But the OP called him 'the pioneer of todays generation'. It just grinds my gears when people say stuff like that. It's like a total disregard for all other genres out there. Also, I am from the UK.
