• New Year's party finally ends for snowed-in revellers

Some 60 revellers have been forced to drink beer and play cards for three days after they became stranded in a British pub cut off by snow storms on New Year's Eve. One reveller described the experience as the "ultimate lock in" http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/01/04/2785103.htm Ooo, ooo that smell!
That's so cool.
Awesome. Would be all "Oh closing time now guys time to leave" "Oh shit we can't get out! what a shame :smug:"
Playing cards for three days doesn't sound 'cool'.
Playing cards for three days doesn't sound 'cool'.
Yeah but it is when you're drunk off your ass.
Yeah but it is when you're drunk off your ass.
Drunk off your ass for three days?
Imagine the toilets after the plumbing froze.
Some 60 revellers have been forced to drink beer and play cards for three days...
Poor them.

If the heating still worked that's awesome, but if not that sucks.
If the heating still worked that's awesome, but if not that sucks.
I hadn't thought of that.
If there were 60 people in there then it wouldn't be too cold even if the heating did turn off.
I hadn't thought of that.
Quick drink to stay warm! :v:
Can you smell that smell?
I'd have no objections to staying in a pub for 3 straight days, sounds like a holiday.
