"We paid for the pizzas and quietly realized that they would go to waste if nothing was done," Guynes wrote. "AutoSource being a dealership, I asked the owner• if Chris Wiman• and myself could take a car out into the streets of Dallas to try and put a smile on the faces of the homeless."
Man, I fucking love people
Man, I fucking love people
And then you lose your faith in them in the next thread.
I bet they asked for 18
Source is broken... here's the working link. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/30/homeless-pizza-surprise_n_4509491.html
This is nice and all but it's a shame it had to take a mistake in order for it to happen.
Stuff like this is heartwarming. So there are people who act without expecting to get something in return.
This is awesome of them. Nice car too
This is nice and all but it's a shame it had to take a mistake in order for it to happen.
There are no mistakes, only happy accidents
This is nice and all but it's a shame it had to take a mistake in order for it to happen.
Who really cares how it happened... As long as it happened. I'm sure feeding a shitload of homeless wasn't part of their party plans, but at least they didn't just let it go to waste.
There are no mistakes, only happy accidents
welp we know who's parents made a mistake now
This is nice and all but it's a shame it had to take a mistake in order for it to happen.
Honestly I feel like most people, mostly youths, would rather have a food fight or something.

Why are so many people being so cynical? These guys did something good and all you are doing is trying to find something bad about it.
Why are so many people being so cynical? We could invent a magic machine that instantly solves world hunger and poverty, and Scot would come in saying "This is nice and all but it's a shame we didn't do this earlier."
This is good. One time my friends I got McDonalds and had an untouched burger fries and drink left over, so instead of throwing it out we walked back a few blocks and gave it to a homeless person we had walked past before. He was so happy. If I ever have too much money I want to help the homeless, start a rehabilitation center or something.
It's pretty insane if you think. Literally any and every fast-food lunch / family restaurant will throw a crapload of perfectly fine food into the trash at the end of EACH business day.
welp we know who's parents made a mistake now
but Bob Ross said that

So what was the original amount they wanted? 8 or 18?
I'm suddenly craving pizza.
Why are so many people being so cynical? Something about being angsty teenagers or college students I suppose
Why are so many people being so cynical? These guys did something good and all you are doing is trying to find something bad about it.
I know a lot of people just kind of look at this stuff as a forced positive pr kind of thing, where they only did it to look good because i mean, they fed the homeless and you can't be angryat someone for feeding the homeless. Either way even if shit like this is done for positive PR, it's still a win win. the company looks nice and in the end, some hungry homeless folks get a hot meal. So at the very end, it doesn't really matter if it was for pr.
It's pretty insane if you think. Literally any and every fast-food lunch / family restaurant will throw a crapload of perfectly fine food into the trash at the end of EACH business day.
What's even more fucked up is that some businesses even put padlocks on their dumpsters to keep people out of them. I mean I guess it's understandable from a business standpoint, having a bunch of homeless people outside can't be good for business, but it can't be that much of a problem, and it takes some severely fucked up, maniacal scrooge mcduck character to implement that sort of thing.
This is nice and all but it's a shame it had to take a mistake in order for it to happen.
how bout you pay for several hundred dollars worth of food every fucking time you eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, or have a snack, and give it out to the homeless. Like seriously they're a business not a charity have some common sense.
