Hello Facepunchers,
I returned to my french retail store (Rueducommerce.com), my defected motherboard (MSI P45T-C51), and wait for an entire month to see finally it was impossible to repair it. So I am without motherboard for my recently computer now.
Anyone have good knowledge about P43/P45 ATX motherboards for my Pentium Dual-Core/Core 2 Quad Processor ?
My current specs are:
Pentium Dual-Core E6500
4 GB RAM DDR2 800Mhz
PNY GTX 460 1GB Pre-Overcloked (765 Mhz)
Antec TruePower New 650W
Thanks in advance. And have a nice day.

Oh, forgive me, but I totally forget about my budget.
To give you an idea, I don't want to spend over 100$/€ in this motherboard

Don't know if these motherboards are really good.
Those are both good boards, the main difference being the Asus gives you a balance of expansion slots. The Gigabyte gives you FIVE pci slots, haha, what are you supposed to do with five pci slots? The Asus board is closer in design to your old MSI board. And yeah, MSI has that reputation right now, if it works- great! But if you are unlucky...
Asus and Gigabyte cost more usually, but they have far better reputations for reliability.
That pentium is a pretty huge bottleneck on that 460.. Though you are probably more than aware on that matter.

Yup I know, but I plan of buying a Core 2 Quad (Q9550) soon. But I don't think the Pentium DC would bottleneck in Source games (or Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, etc...) for example

Thanks for the help, mate. Too bad the only MSI board I bought was defected. Do you think the ASUS P5QD Turbo (P45 Chipset) or Asus P5QLD PRO (P43 Chipset) would be great enough?
I think I'll get this motherboard:

ASUS P5QD Turbo (P45 Chipset - 82,90€). Seems really good to me but there are no reviews about it.
