The label on the bottle said it contained a common antibiotic, but prosecutors say inside was a drug that's often used to induce abortions.
Remee Jo Lee, 26, was six weeks pregnant when her boyfriend gave her a pill he said was prescribed by his father, a Florida fertility doctor, to treat a bacterial infection, according to court papers.
Lee says she trustingly swallowed the pill, and within hours started bleeding. She went to the hospital, where she had a miscarriage and learned that her boyfriend had tricked her into terminating her pregnancy, her lawyer alleges.
Now the ex-boyfriend, John Andrew Welden, 28, is in county lockup, facing a civil lawsuit and a murder rap.
What a vile and terrible thing to do.
Wow, what an absolutely terrible and douchey thing of him to do.
What a douche!!!
Came to mind those women who deliberately "forget" to take their contraceptives so that they can trick a guy giving them a bebeh.
This is pretty much almost equally shit thing to do.

This is actually far far more shitty, since if you perform vaginal sex with somebody, you should trust them. If you have unprotected sex with somebody and at get tricked, it's fucking awful of them, but it says something about who do you trust to go into bed with.
I know this gets sort of hard to balance since abortion is a very discussed thing, but considering she wanted to keep the baby and was hoping to deliver it, she already practically gave the baby the future of a living human, and I wouldn't hesitate to either call the guy a murderer, or at least as somebody who heavily hurt her, if you wish to go strictly with the "it's purely the woman's decision" ideology.
If a female tricks you into having a baby with them, they don't harm you. It can put you into a pretty shitty social and economical situation, but it's not comparable with forcing a miscarriage.
The guy shouldnt face a murder charge for this, I mean its terrible but if the child was accidental and the man didnt want it and the woman did, to bad the man is stuck in the situation at the least financially for the next 18 years. If for instance the man wants it but the woman doesnt? to bad, the woman can go have an abortion. Why is it the woman choice always in this matter? and although the "its her body" argument will be flashed here shouldnt the man then have the option to "divorce" himself from the child financially and absolve himself of the responsibility if its not what he wants? We live in an age where it is a choice to have a child, and why should one persons decision haunt someone else for the next quarter of their life?

The male should have no input on the decision of a female.
The choice to abort is that of a females and it is purely a choice of her own.
In saying that, there should be a choice which legally a female chooses to keep a child that a male could remove himself legally and agree that there would be no further contact with the female and the child then I 100% agree.
In the alternative, when a female wishes to terminate, it's legally the females decision, and completely independent to that of the males..

If a woman has a child she doesn't want and gives it to the man, does she have to play child support to him?
Legit question, I don't actually know.

Yup.
Usually, it's the court who has to decide that the child has to be taken away from one parent and given into care of the other, the parent who won't be in touch with it anymore has to pay child support.
I am not sure but I think that if the kid is taken into foster care, it's the same thing. Whoever you are, as long as you participated on "creation" of the baby and refuse to/are unfit to take care of it, you have to support the people who gonna take care of it financially (based on your own disposition - obviously, if they take the baby away from your homeless unemployed self, they won't expect support from you).

Nope.
Once you dip your sausage in, you are taking the dangerous risk of sudden babies onto yourself. Just deal with it or watch where you stuff it.

Stop pretending sex is only to be experienced by two people in love with one another. This is the 21st century, people have consensual sex for pleasure with strangers, and there's nothing wrong with that. There shouldn't even be a worry of "is this woman going to steal my sperm".
Condoms are cool.

I am not saying you shouldn't fuck people you don't love, I am saying you shouldn't fuck people you can't trust.
If you fuck a stranger you just met, having unprotected sex with them (keep in mind we are talking contraceptive pills here), you might end up with something far worse than severe case of babies and if you do, you are a fucking idiot, then.
People seem to miss the fact that sex being taboo sorta covered up that sex is also pretty dangerous, in cases.
Im pretty sure this was a South Park episode.
Shouldn't have stuck it in, then.

The idiocy of this post disturbs me. Because creating an accident with a random fucking stranger is really a great choice for the child. Let me get this straight, you seem to think that the 21st century is about sleeping with random people purely for the sake of physical pleasure? With attitudes like this it's no wonder we're stuck with overpopulation, a slowdown of technological innovation, and serious economic problems, because the current generation cares only about what goes between their legs and in their pocket.

Do they rob sperm banks wearing condoms over their heads instead of socks?

No, it's worse, because uncontrolled miscarriages put the woman's life at risk.
That's what I would do too.
Although I would've just gotten a vasectomy in the first place, just to prevent things like that.
Great job.

Nice edit there, troll.

Wasn't this a plotline in Law and Order: SVU? I remember that the girl hung herself because she wanted to start a family with her boyfriend, but he used some sort of drug during sex that made her have a miscarriage but didn't say what it did.

Oh yeah, still gotta give him props.

Except it's a totally different thing to drug someone without their knowledge, but then again you aren't saying it's the same thing, just equally as bad - which I can kind of agree with.

The final decision must be made by the woman. But I think it's arbitrary to say the man should get NO input... Not that he should be able to put undue pressure on, but, well, his input does deserve some merit, considering he has some responsibility.
