This year it's 15% bigger than last year with a total area of 140.000 square meters. Gonna be there, not sure which days though. Now that nintendo and MS won't come the halls might not be full of little kids.
Saturday and Sunday (maybe)
I'll be there for the whole 4 days. I can't wait.
Maybe GTA V will be there perhaps maybe.
I would like to go but don't have anyone to go with. Much better than Eurogamer.

brb Noclipping to Germany
The breathing in that video got on my nerves.
If I'm right, you are missing Blizzard!
I was planning on going this, but my generous aunt has decided to offer us tickets to Greece, valid right on the first day of Gamescom.
First set of news. Coming from Capcom: -Virgil has been announced to appear in DmC. -DmC launches January 13th on Xbox 360 and PC, with a PC version coming later. -Lost Planet 3 is coming to consoles and PC in early 2013. -Resident Evil.Net is announced. It's a website that pulls all of your gameplay stats from Resident Evil 6 and compares them with friends. -New IP from Capcom, name is Remember Me. It's being worked on by former Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and Heavy Rain developers. -Remember Me is coming May 2013 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Army of Two looks pretty neat, haven't heard of it until I saw the trailer on the stream never mind looks like crap

Or am I thinking of a different game.
Valve gives free indie games away, guess it's like 2010 where you could get coupons for their games (got L4D from there). If anybody is there today or tomorrow, please let us know where you can pick up nice free stuff :v: And today the waiting time in queue for Assassins Creed 3 was over 300 minutes, and I thought 3.5h for Battlefield last year was tough..
Those jokers at the Valve/Steam booth gave me two coupons and my friend got two as well. All four codes gifted the same game (AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome). :/ Looks like they didn't mix the cards well (or at all) before handing them out. There's lots of free stuff for everyone willing to scream and jump around like a lunatic at the events. I think the caseking booth had the "who assembles these PC parts the fastest" competition again. Blizzard, as usual, entertained their fans with hourly shows, Q&A's and small competitions. You will be drowned in raffles/draws/giveaways (of course, most of them at the cost of your address). Bethesda gives away GIANT (but empty) bags with Dishonored/Doom 3 ads on the sides at the end of the waiting queue. Very bulky, but sought after. Got asked three times where I got mine. They let you play Dishonored on Xbox (awesome) and Doom 3 on PC (meh). EA rewards the three best players of each round of the Armored Kill DLC for Battlefield 3 with T-Shirts. Some stuff you can play (a far from complete list): Doom 3 BFG Edition Dishonored Battlefield 3: Armored Kill Far Cry 3 (SP & MP) Assassin's Creed 3 FIFA13 PES 2013 Borderlands 2 X-COM Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm WoW: Mists of Pandaria (also, public premiere of the opening cinematic) Black Ops 2 (MP) I was there today and it was extremely full. Don't wanna know how it looks on Saturday. All in all I got less goodies then last year and saw less games... If you want to visit, be there early, not later than half an hour before opening and then head straight to whatever AAA title you want to see at all cost. Be swift. Regard every visitor as a foe. Imagine you have to hunt someone on the ground in Assassin's Creed, just with less casualties (ideally).
Yea I was there today. I queued for ac3 for 3 hours. In the end I managed to play the wiiu version of the boat demo level as well as some multiplayer on ps3. Then had a quick look at the vita spin off which played quite well. Got to also play lbp vita, unfinished swan and looked at some retro games Will be back tomorrow roam around for a bit might try get into borderlands 2 or something
video doesn't work
Here now (Friday) anyone else coming today?
Gamescom was great. Haven't seen too many games, because I didn't want to wait 5hours for a game when I'm only there for a day, but grabbed some nice stuff. Even played on the ubisoft stage with some other guy the new Raving Rabbids game and got an AC3 shirt for it. Saw a lot of cosplayers (from Tf2 to Resident Evil and other stuff, mostly bad ones :v:). Only thing that bothers me is that it was nearly impossible to take a look at the AAA titles without waiting the whole day. I was there half an hour before it opened on saturday (only pre-selling), and when we entered there was already an dont-know-how-many hour queue on most of the games. Only thing that went really, really quick was Doom 3 / Dishonored, was only like 5min waiting. But on the other side I finally met DoctorDan, so that was a nice side effect. tikay, do you want to trade one of your AaaAaaaA... games for Eufloria/Blocks that matter/ atom zombie smasher?
It was much better when it was still in Leipzig if you ask me.
