My beast is about 4 years old now and is showing signs of age.
Mobo: GA-H55M-S2
CPU: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.80 GHz
RAM: 2x2GB Kingston HyperX
Video Card: MSI GTX 770 2GB
HDD: 2x1TB WD Caviar Black
PSU: God only knows.
Case: Antec. No idea what model.
Want this new beauty to be able to play games at 1080p if possible, although I think my 770 covers that. Want to play BF4, Far Cry 3, that new Thief game.
Have a huge problem with cooling at summer, my room gets to about 30 degrees C and I fear it's damaging my system. No need to upg video card, obviously, it's fairly new. New case and PSU required also. No need for mouse, keyboard, monitor etc etc. No OS required.
Not sure about OCing my system. I've thought about it but i'll let you guys decide if that's a good idea. Cheers!
Do you have a budget?
£450. If you can manage to go under budget that'd be fantastic.

It's a bit under budget, and should do you very well. It will allow you a milder overclock, around 4.5ghz or so, but putting the two corsair high performance fans on the 212 EVO should alleviate most of your concerns with ambient heat. Then throw the 120 that comes with it in an empty fan port on your case. You'll have the 4670k, the best gaming processor around, a motherboard that will allow for a decent overclock but keep you under budget, and 8gb of RAM.
Thanks a bunch! Is there any point in filling the two empty RAM slots on the motherboard with 8GB extra?
Doesn't make sense to get a crappy crossair case just so you have to buy another fan. Cool Master Haf cases are awesome. This one's $100 with 3 fans, 1x120mm and 2x200mm, and the led can be switched on/off if you don't liked leds, and USB 3.0.

As long as it's ddr3 1600mhz. More than 8GB doesn't usually make a huge difference when playing games though, it's mostly for video editing, but if you have the money it can't hurt.

I've always found those cases fairly ugly. I think most of it comes from the text on the case, it looks cheap and unclean.
I can recommend the Fractal Design R4 if you're willing to spend $/£100 on a case. It looks clean and cools well. The biggest part of the case is if everything fits and how it looks. Most decent cases will have a good cooling performance unless you're really going to overclock a lot.

How is the Corsair 200R a crappy case? It is probably the most recommended case here for lower end budgets. And for good reason. It has good airflow, great build quality, sleathy/sleeker subtle look to it, USB 3 aswell as a hell of a lot better cable management then the Haf, and is relatively cheap(compared to the Haf). And why get a $100 case just because it has more fans when you can buy a $50 case and spend $30 more to get a couple high performance fans, compared to the haf which more than likely just comes with generic case fans. Either way you look at it, the corsair is a little more reputable and is considerably cheaper than the Haf.
Also the ram posted in Levelog's build is running at too high of a voltage for haswell, it's running at 1.65v haswells max is 1.5, so just swap the ram for 1.5v or you could possibly fry your motherboard and CPU.

Thanks for pointing that out my friend. Any recommendations on the RAM? I've only ever used Kingston, but I've heard alright things about the Corsair Vengence series, and seen a few people using G.Skill. Apart from that I'm clueless when it comes to RAM.
As for the case, when I checked out the Cool Master Haf it was selling at a minimum of £150 on Amazon, which has now sold out anyway. Not really a fussy type on aesthetics anyway, so I'll just go with the Corsair 200R. I kinda like the look of the Fractal Design R4, so when I get a bit more dosh I may look into grabbing that.

Corsair and G.Skill are probably the top two brands of ram with Kingston being right below them. Most people lean toward G.Skill because they are usually a little bit cheaper than Corsair. Here are a few different version to look at. I actually have the Corsair ram listed above, I went for it over the G.Skill just for ascetics, but any one of these would do fine, incidentally they go from cheapest to most expensive in the links.
