Some mistakes here and there; I'm not perfect. Just want to get myself out there. Criticism much appreciated.

I did this by listening to the song on headphones while playing, not using a metronome. That was my first intuition/ Should I just memorize the song and play it with a metronome?
Sounds pretty great to me man. I'm not familiar with the song but you seemed to nail it.
Only suggestion I could think of (and this may be nitpicking) is to perhaps raise the song volume so the drums don't sound overpowering.
Great job!

I tried to balance it out in Audacity (messing with the volume of each track).
Thanks for the tip, I will definitely work on it once I get another cover done. I'm getting a new Paiste hi-hat in a few days, so songs will definitely sound a lot better; this is my setup at the moment:

Except I have that stack in place of the broken hi-hat that I don't use, and I can only control the sustain via the tightening knob on top. On the bright side, once I get my new hi-hat, I'll have a stack!
