Well the article is misleading, the post says nothing about a separate project, it's just teaser images so likely it's more DoK content, possibly an expansion with a 3rd faction, which would be fantastic.

You mean a fifth, they already did a third and fourth faction.

No, I mean 3rd. They're not actual seperate factions, Soban and Khaaneph are strictly subfactions. That's like saying RA2's Allied America and Allied France are seperate factions because they have a few different units.
I was going to buy Deserts of Kharak but i read it had been abandoned and there were game-breaking bugs. It would be nice if they fixed that before moving on to something else.

I've not encountered any game breaking bugs in it. The only one I hear about is mission 4, and it's because of something not being counted as dead when it is. As far as i've heard, the bug just comes up from killing the thing too fast. It's a great game as long as you're not looking for a big MP scene.
