Since I installed Windows 7 a while back, my internet speed has drastically slowed down, it used to be significantly faster, around 5 Mbps upload 20 Mbps download, now, just look at it: See what I mean? The average download speed to download an 800 MB file is about 3 minutes for my ISP, which is what it used to be before I installed Windows 7, and now it's taking an hour to download a file half that size, and I know the ISP hasn't changed anything because the speed is still perfect on my XP computer in the other room. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Oh and look at this: That bastard used to be all the way to the right.
drivers bro
Wow, I didn't even think of that, it worked perfectly, I rate myself dumb. Thanks a bunch. [editline]06:08PM[/editline] Nope, wait, nevermind, it worked a little but it's still very slow.
Bump, I'm still looking for an answer to this.
Do you use NOD32? The HTTP filter significantly lowers your connection speed. I had the same problem, 500 ping when enabled, 24 with it disabled.
No, I don't use NOD32.
Try this? Download this: http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/boost-speed/download/ Run the Internet Optimizer. Reboot. Use several different servers on SpeedTest and post back results
