HD trailer for all :3:
Like I've said many times before, it's one of my favorite films. The soundtrack is a masterpiece.
Was a 10/10 from me until 2/3rds in.
Then turned into a 7/10.
Still pretty fucking good though.
One of the best movies I have seen. Alot of it was in the soundtrack which was just amazing and it needs to be fucking released already on something other than Itunes.
Amazing Film
I didn't care for it much, I had no idea what the hell was going on later in the film.
Last third of the movie = :wtc:

Exactly how I feel. First 2/3 were so phenomenal...then it turned into some weird, cliche slasher flick.
Soundtrack is amazing.
Dunno what was going on near the end but the rest of it was brilliant.
uh, it is
uh, it's not.
On November 25, 2008, the soundtrack was finally released exclusively through the iTunes Store. On February 14, 2009, the album was re-released on iTunes in DRM-free iTunes Plus format.
Thank you.
I thought it was a fairly good film. The central plot device was not exactly grounded in hard science, but nothing is anymore. I was pleasantly surprised with the crew actually working together as people of that intelligence would IRL, instead of bitching and infighting as so many sci-fi films tend to degenerate into.
I was also impressed with the writing; there were no really glaring plotholes, [sp]such as the crew's decision to grab the Icarus I[/sp].
[sp]The plot, too, did not follow convention, where the primary protagonist succeeds alone against all odds and returns alive.
Instead, it is very much a joint effort between Mace repairing the coolant and Capa activating the payload, where it is made clear that they will not survive.[/sp]
The way the film deals with the protagonist's psychological state it surprisingly well done, adding a genuine air of tension to it instead of the usual "kill 'em off as we go" angle.
Well worth a watch.
