I played the demo, and I really liked the change from turn-based to real-time strategy, but it felt like the turn-based portion didn't get the same attention to detail and modularity. I might still get the big multi-game pack on steam for $60 if its still there.

For everyone that is getting the name mixed up, All total war games can be either Total war: Rome or Rome: Total war (Used Rome because it was the best in the series :v: )

It is called Shogun 2: Total war because it is the second Shogun game in the Series.

It's actually officially called Total War: Shogun 2, not Shogun 2: Total War. They reversed the "Total War" title, so that it is now at the front instead of at the end. This puts the Total War series in line with other game titles.
