You're twice as likely to be struck by lightning than win your first game of Battlegrounds

I guess I should buy a lottery ticket, because I played with my friends for the first time and we won.

I don't think playing with friends really counts here. You're multiplying your chances.
the first time i played it i managed to stay alive into the top 5, then i accidentally got distracted for a split second and got shot in the head from the opposite end of the safe zone
First time I played I got second place, and only lost because I made an error in judgement of my hitbox-size. :vs:
I almost did it, first game I got to #5. Then I snuck through a door and got shotgunned in the side by a guy who had been waiting there forever.
won my second round solo, guess i should kill myself before i get hit by a bus or something
I did win my very first game solo.
I knew what to do because I watched videos and streams of the game beforehand.
So much adrenaline was rushing through my body by the end of the match.

thats helping your luck, like standing on top of a high building during a storm
Already won a solo even got a crate drop too, lottery time I guess
Wait, one out of every 3,000 people gets struck by lightning?

One in 13500, the video is inaccurate
I won after like 5 solo games, and got top 10 many times. It really isn't that hard as long as you play smart and look for your surroundings.
I don't think it's really comparable to being struck by lightning, unless the game REALLY heavily relies on RNG.

It kinda does, since a lot of factors on winning is based on how good of a spot you drop on, the equipment and loot you pick up and hopes that you stumble across a good equipment set, and where the safezone ends up on the final minutes of a game. Skill still plays a large factor but luck and RNG is almost equally huge when it comes to winning.

It means winning your very first game. Unless you meant that.
Winning in a game full of casuals. What an impressive achievement.

Yup, that was so far my first and only solo
Is there a fun factor thing I'm missing in this game? I played it for a bit and couldn't get it into it.
Anyway, speaking of statistics, 1 in 1 persons will die eventually. That must suck for you guys. ={

It's mainly the tense situations around the end of the game, and just what kind of shenanigans you can get into as a team.
It's a different kind of game compared to infinite respawn Battlefield and CoD.
