I hated how good songs would've sounded so much better with real vocals. But then every other song would be too catchy to ignore, and I would end up looking into them on YouTube. There's a great community of people who create good music and use vocaloid to layer harmonies on top.

Each VOCALOID* version is usually more realistic than the other, so it's always worth checking if the newer version if up to your standards IMO (and if it isn't, then keep ignoring it, of course).
