Oh god, the idea of either actually-acted machinima or just simply slapping curious minges upside the face comes to mind.

I am starting to take back some comments that Kinect is worthless for gaming, now that its' potential has been used well in a game.

Better than what a lot of us chumps down at the Lua Scripting section write. I was going to work on a skeleton tracking system primarily for recording animations for Source in Lua, but the code required for this is pretty long. This dude must have had a little bit of time on his hands. Nice work.

Someone should post this to the lua-scripting subforum.

I was wondering when someone would get around to doing this in Gmod. Definitely way more than I could do, but the ragdolls seem pretty... loosely controlled. I get the feeling they did that to prevent the ragdolls from spazzing out, but they still kind of do. Does anyone with knowledge of source know why source ragdolls are so much more... spazzy?

I want that.

I'd turn off the physics and see how well the Kinect could perform as a motion capture device. Would be excellent for machinimas.

Holy shit. Want it want it want it! In time, it may be improved, but this is really a good start.

This will be a nice feature for multiplayer, particularly in the giant ragdoll godzilla rollplaying.
