Donald Trump tells Theresa May he won't visit the UK unless she bans protests
Donald Trump is refusing to visit the UK unless Theresa May can ensure that he is not met with protests.
Bloomberg revealed that Trump complained in a phone call to May about the "negative coverage" he has received in the British press.
May told the US president that that was how the UK media operated and she could do little to change it.
Trump went on to say that he would not visit the UK unless there were guarantees that he would not be met with protests.
Advisers who had been listening to the phone call are reported to have been "astonished" at the demands.
Special type of snowflake.
"I don't want people to be mean to me :c"
Criticism comes with the job, man up and take it instead of acting like a special snowflake everytime someone hurts your feelings, tinyhands.
Don't fucking want him over here.
"In that case, keep those protests going indefinitely."
little hands doesn't want protestors to hurt his little feelings
Trumps' hands are so small you can blow on them and he'd need a magnifying glass to find them after they fell on the ground
Proof once and for all that protest works
Does he not realize that freedom of expression is a tenet of his own country as well as theirs? What he's asking is, literally, for her government to violate an inviolable right of the general populace that forms a cornerstone of our society regardless of which border you're behind.
I wonder if there's a Donald Trump tweet about how Obama was trying to stop protestors or something.

Nah Obama wasn't as retarded

Funny thing is that it probably wouldn't work if Trump wasn't such a manbaby in the first place.
Don't think too many presidents would cancel their trips over some protests.

Whoa Trump is acting like he doesn't give a shit about anyone's rights but his own when did that happen
Thin-skinned and unconstitutional, that there's a combo.
Fuck off Trump.
Hey if you guys could stop protesting for a day, he could go visit. Then we could double up on the protests and maybe he won't come back. Consider it payment for taking Piers Morgan for a bit.
What, could it be that he wants a, a, a safe space?
What's wrong with people protesting and telling it like it is? If a platform of "telling it like it is" is good enough to get Trump elected, and if he is such a hyper-masculine God-Emperor Alpha male, surely some liberal snowflakes "telling it like it is" shouldn't get to a strong and masculine tough guy like Trump right?
Imagine trying to argue that Trump isn't a fascist after this, fucking hell.
It could set a very dangerous precedent if she was to give in to his demands

She won't. Her rep is bad enough as it is.
Lol America's president is a pussy
as always a tv comedian that became a president demands special treatment
coulda sworn Trump said something on twitter about protests being good... really makes you think.
God, he is such a little piss baby. I honestly feel embarrassed for him for requesting this.
I feel like they should agree and just rescind it as soon as he lands, just to piss him off. Like a big national prank. What's he gonna do, not leave Air Force One until the British people apologize for being such meanies? :v:

even if she does do something as drastic ( which she won't ) , there'll still be protests, and I'll still - alongside pretty much all of Scotland - want to be part of them.

If she does this, you can bet your bottom that people will just protest anyway. And not only that, since these protests will be cracked down, there will be riots too.
