• Better quality video?

So I recently bought a new video card, the Radeon 6870 1GB, upgrading from the Radeon 4870 512MB, I've used a DVI cable from the video card to the monitor with the 4870, but I have an HDMI to DVI cable I use with my xbox to the same monitor, would the quality of the video from the PC increase at all if I use the HDMI to DVI for my PC? I do not have an HMDI port on my monitor, otherwise I wouldn't be asking this question.
No
No. If the quality is really bad it might be the monitor or the settings of what your running, try upping the graphic settings.
Nope. As long as you use a digital connector, the quality should be as good as it can get. Apart from that, DVI and HDMI are (almost) the same thing, just in a different package and pin layout. You're doing exactly nothing by adding that adapter in between.
