BF:BC2 Artifacts and crashes when i use aerial vehicles

Hi! I have a problem with the otherwise fine game bad company 2.

As the title suggests im having problems with the game artifacting and crashing, It can happen at random, but it almost certainly happens when I enter a helicopter or a UAV station.

I tried several things like:

Reinstalling the game
Reinstalling windows
Cleaning out my graphics card/PC for dust

I have monitored my temperatures, and they dont seem to be above the operational limits, i dont have problems like this in any other games. (I can play games like L4D2, Crysis and GTA4 for hours without ever experiencing artifacting)

My specifications:
Intel C2Q Q6600
2GB memory (Cant remember the brand, but i guess thats irrelevant)
inno3D 8800GT (512mb memory... i think)

Normally when it comes to artifacting i would say that its overheating, but shouldnt games like crysis and GTA4 artifact too if this was the case? (I mean they are atleast as graphic-intensive as BC2)

Do you have anything overclocked in your system?
