What's the problem with this? PCgamer mentioning giveaways isn't a new thing.
PCgamer is currently the only gaming-related newsbot here. What would you rather have instead? I'm pretty sure the other ones we've had in the past like RPS and PCgamesn also did similar things.

Or just ignore the ones that don't interest you.
PCGamer can stay as far as I'm concerned. They do a lot of giveaways and every now and then a good article or review springs up. It's easy enough to hit the back button on my mouse when it isn't. Sure beats a lot of other bots
