The Division was a real fun game at first that felt like it had a lot of potential to build on before you hit the endgame and realized you'd basically seen the whole thing I'd be interested in seeing a sequel if they improved on it.

Between the free and paid DLC, I've heard it's actually in a better spot right now than Destiny 2.
Between Destiny 2 and The Division, I much prefer the latter. Of course it's had many more updates than D2 but there's something in Destiny 2 that keeps me from enjoying it. Maybe it's the Sci-Fi theme or something but I just can't stand that game. Wish I refunded it to be honest. The Division on the other hand did improve a lot with the updates. There is still untapped potential like for example the map or the Survival DLC atmosphere, so I'd be really interested in having a sequel that incorporates all the good stuff from the first game. I don't regret buying it even before all the updates happened. I really like walking around the map and looking at all the care put into it.
Tbh I'm pretty surprised that Ubi isn't launching an ad campaign for Division. It's like the perfect time to do so where they can flaunt on how they fixed shit, added more free shit via Update 1.8 and indirectly brag on how they're the better alternative to Destiny 2. For real though, the game's fun, but like a lot of people in this and that other thread in the videos section, it could've done more with its setting than just being a looter shooter. Granted, it's a pretty good looter shooter, but it would've been better if they kept the whole grounded tactiwankery realism and explored more on what would happen if there was a Plague 2.0 in the modern world.
I hope they added more scarves and coats for me to unlock

Playerunknown's The Division. You know it's coming.
Playerunknown's The Division. You know it's coming.
PVP Survival is pretty much just that though.
Tom Clancy's The Addition
Well I wouldn't mind if they'd improve the endgame or even a sequel. I really like the story behind the Division and the setting as well. It could use a bit of work though.
Hasn't the game changed a whole lot since 1.0? Between the free and paid DLC, I've heard it's actually in a better spot right now than Destiny 2.
It's definitely in a much better spot. It has basically got the Reaper of Souls treatment Diablo got. If you haven't played since 1.0: Time to Kill is way down, there's new weapons, there's class sets and classified better versions for your hardcore grindy needs, you can re-roll stats and use division tech to 'optimize' them which brings all the stats on a piece of gear up until eventually they're perfect, the Light zone isn't useless anymore, world bosses are on 4 hour cooldowns, West Side Piers is a new area and more difficult than the rest of the light zone with combat assignments on 15 minute rotations for caches, non stop side quests, and loot that falls out the ass. There's Daily and Weeky High Value Targets you spend intel on accepting, which you get from infinite sidequests at each safe house. There's Skirmish PvP which is 4v4 first to 20. There's Resistance which is like Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, except the waves just go on and on until you die, and it's not easy at all The Rogue System in the DZ is better. You have to manually toggle it which takes a couple seconds to do so if someone's looking at you, they're going to get a heads up. No more shooting for instant rogue or surprise ambushes you can't combat against, and people seem to go Rogue less. (They wanted to make player deaths 50/50 between PvE and PvP and they were more like 75/25 in favor of PvP, hence the change) There's also supply drops in the DZ which drop from Ospreys and are guarded by elites and when you claim one you get the loot which doesn't need extracting. Landmarks give items you don't have to extract when you clear them, all on 10 minute cooldowns. There's contamination events in the DZ that take place underground which require a higher filter than you can get, so you have to constantly heal, but you get items for clearing those There's exotic weapons and gear pieces with special talents, Incursions (Raids), Survival DLC is basically Division's version of PUBG but with the cold weather survival element and clothing with warmth stats, both with PvE and PvP matches, Underground is sort of like Diablo's Rifts, randomly generated linear PvE missions There's lootboxes with cosmetic clothing and backpack/weapon skins. They cost a key to buy and open, the keys you buy with money, but they also drop in-game pretty regularly. You get 10 fragments and they make 1 key. Lots of new cosmetic stuff to be had, too. Some of it is pretty baller. You can fast travel to all the DZ checkpoints, all the missions have difficulty levels, some with Legendary which is hard as dicks. There's World Tier levels which work like Diablo's Torment levels. World Tier 5 sets enemies to level 34, and drop gear with a gear score of about 260 to 291 I think that covers most of the changes. Worth the $20 it's on sale for, and the season pass is $15
Tom Clancy's The Addition
Followed by The Subtraction and The Multiplication

There's more content but most of it isn't awfullt interessting and it is still a complete rng grind fest. At least it is more enjoyable than the snorefest that is Destiny 2
Followed by The Subtraction and The Multiplication
I can imagine the bundle now, Tom Clancy's The Order of Operations
I can imagine the bundle now, Tom Clancy's The Order of Operations
Pre-order the BOMDAS Bundle and receive an iconic The Division™ beanie.
I wish this was a serious game in the vein of TLOU. It has one of the most beautiful and well-realized settings out of any videogame, but it feels so wasted on the bland writing and MMORPG gameplay. I know it's good for what it is, but if The Division wasn't made by Ubisoft and had an actual story, it could've been heartwrenching.

For Honor is the same. Its the writing and coding where they lack. You can probably put 'lack of direction' in there as well.
