Adolf Hitler is likely to have been descended from both Jews and Africans, according to DNA tests. Samples taken from relatives of the Nazi leader show that he is biologically linked to the 'sub-human' races he sought to exterminate. Journalist Jean-Paul Mulders and historian Marc Vermeeren used DNA to track down 39 of the Fuhrer's relatives earlier this year. They included an Austrian farmer revealed only as a cousin called Norbert H. A Belgian news magazine has reported that samples of saliva taken from these people strongly suggest Hitler had antecedents he certainly would not have cared for. A chromosome called Haplopgroup E1b1b (Y-DNA) in their samples is rare in Germany and indeed Western Europe. 'It is most commonly found in the Berbers of Morocco, in Algeria, Libya and Tunisia as well as among Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews,' Mr Vermeeren said. 'One can from this postulate that Hitler was related to people whom he despised,' adds Mr Mulders in the magazine, Knack. Haplogroup E1b1b1, which accounts for approximately 18 to 20 per cent of Ashkenazi and 8.6 per cent to 30 per cent of Sephardic Y-chromosomes, appears to be one of the major founding lineages of the Jewish population. 'This is a surprising result,' said Ronny Decorte, a genetic specialist who agreed that Hitler probably did have some roots in North Africa. Roots: Hitler's DNA was found to contain Haplogroup E1b1b, commonly found in the Berbers of Morocco - and also accounts for approximately 18 to 20 per cent of the Y-chromosomes of Sephardic Jews (who hail from Morocco, Spain and Portugal) 'It is difficult to predict, what happens with this information, both to opponents and supporters of Hitler,' he added. The magazine says the DNA was tested under stringent laboratory conditions to obtain the results. It is not the first time that historians have suggested Hitler had Jewish ancestry. His father, Alois, is thought to have been the illegitimate offspring of a maid called Maria Schickelgruber and a 19-year-old Jewish man called Frankenberger. This would have made the man who inspired the Holocaust one-quarter Jewish. Hidden secrets: The Waldviertel region where a Hitler's cousin, farmer Norbert H, was found The Auschwitz-Birkenau camp where Hitler's Jewish extermination programme was carried out The original DNA on the serviette in the US was from Alexander Stuart-Houston (now aged 61), a grand-nephew of Hitler Reports have suggested that Hitler's nephew, Patrick, tried to blackmail his uncle over the issue of Alois Hitler's parentage. Hitler asked his lawyer, Hans Frank, to investigate the claims and he announced just before the outbreak of the Second World War that they were 'without any foundation'. 'Hitler would not have been pleased about this,' added Mr Decorte, of the Catholic University of Leuven. 'The affair is fascinating if one compares it with the conception of the world of the Nazis, in which race and blood was central. 'Hitler's concern over his descent was not unjustified. He was apparently not "pure" or "Ayran".' DNA was also taken from American Alexander Stuart-Houston, 61, a grand-nephew of Hitler. He was trailed for seven days before he dropped a used serviette which Mulders said led him to the cousin in Austria - and the link with Hitler's sworn enemies.
"]Source.
Hitler, that Jew.
Many people are probably distantly related to those groups that don't know about it. Nonetheless, tis a great irony.
Fun fact: he was also Catholic, strongly during childhood and less-so in his adult years, but he was always Catholic, one of the religions he persecuted. Fun fact #2: many of Hitler's twisted experiments on various prisoners were done in an attempt to figure out how to produce only Aryan, blond-haired, blue-eyed people. He was neither blonde-haired, blue-eyed, nor fully Aryan.
Wasn't his mother Jewish?
Imagine if those truths were revealed to him back in the day. He probably woulda denied it all, though.
Well thats just breaking things down too far IMO. Obviously if we keep going back we are ALL related and we have a junkload of different ethnicities in us, I guess the douchebag I hate at school is my brother then? Just seems weird.
Hitler also had autism.
Imagine if those truths were revealed to him back in the day. He probably woulda denied it all, though.
In the Battle of Berlin, while Soviet troops were burning the government office, Hitler told his men it was a conspiracy theory, that the Soviets weren't burning anything, and that Germany was winning the war. He also talked about divisions in the millions reinforcing him from France. Too bad all of his men in France had already been captured by Anglo-American forces.
And why does this matter to me? I don't really see this as ground breaking news but its something people will shout out in debates.
Hitler also had autism.
Autism? Don't think so. He was paranoid throughout his political life, then became afflicted with paranoid-schizophrenic bipolar depression around 1944.
Hitler also had autism.
lol no [editline]03:40PM[/editline]
And why does this matter to me? Also a good painter.
Fun fact: he was also Catholic, strongly during childhood and less-so in his adult years, but he was always Catholic, one of the religions he persecuted.
Pretty sure that's not true. He was Roman Catholic all his life and never refuted it or anything Most of the nation (most of the world really) at that time was religious in some way, and a large chunk of that being a form of Christianity. The SS's belt buckle motto said "God with us". They weren't going after Christians... To be honest I'd bet most people would be. Like a nightmare you can't wake up from no matter what you do. It'd feel surreal [editline]09:42PM[/editline]
Also a good painter.
Definitely better then anything I could ever paint
The SS's belt buckle motto said "God with us". They weren't going after Christians...
The SS motto was "My honor is Loyalty" or something like that...
:hitler: who cares
The SS motto was "My honor is Loyalty" or something like that...
Oh whoops got mottos confused, "Gott mit uns" meaning God with us was the Wehrmachts motto. You still get the point though. [editline]09:49PM[/editline] Without his mustache he kinda looks like my grandpa

:irony: This is exactly what that emote was made for.
That sounds exaggerated, but yeah at that point he was in denial about everything.
maybe because he was a major meth head.

I wish Hitler would have just stayed an artist and had a nice life. :sigh:
Isn't everyone descended from Africa
It just proves the Jewish conspiracy.
Your FUCKING kidding they just now found this out...his grandmother was jewish or his Great grandmother either or and everyone who has even read a book about him knows this.
Your FUCKING kidding they just now found this out...his grandmother was jewish or his Great grandmother either or and everyone who has even read a book about him knows this.
There was no concrete evidence of this until now. Notice, also, this doesn't mean he really had Jewish ancestors conclusively, it's just the most reasonable option.
I am not an anti-semite but this seriously sounds like anti-propaganda and rewriting of history Hitler killed lots of jews because of racial hate, and now they are trying to make him look not only like the actual terrible human being he was, but also a comedic ironical figure
Isn't everyone descended from Africa
It's generally regarded as the "place of human creation" (scientifically) right?
