So I had a crack at this, since some of the stuff I've seen people do is simply amazing.
I used a single LED torch and pointed it downwards (otherwise the pictures became flooded with light)
Exposure time set to 15 seconds

This one is me trying to write my name (Oli)

So, if you haven't already, grab your camera and try it! If you have some red or green LEDs lying around, you can make a much cooler picture (You could of course just colour it in Photoshop I guess)
Also, see if you can make some proper pictures. I just whirled my LED around for a while, and even that looked cool!
You should try and make something a bit more complicated than whirling a light around - Also try and do it outside, there's plenty of dark out there if you come from the northern parts.
My friend has done some stuff like this. To be totally honest I think it's really cliched and overly done. It's like everyone's "my first photography project" subject.
It can be interesting if you think of some sort of interesting premise for it though.

Yes I realize, the problem is i'm just not imaginative. Perhaps you guys have some better shots?
It was more of a "Post your" rather than "Look at this!"
I guess the name doesn't suggest that
I was trying to find the work my friend did, but I couldn't :v:
He did some work where he had a big ale bottle set up and then he took the long-exposure shots of the LED lights so it looked like the light was escaping from the opened bottle. Was pretty cool.
