Ok well, first of all I posted this in the programming forum a while back but I only got like 3 or 4 responses. Seeing this is a more populated section might as well try here.
Anyway, I need some good Visual Basic tutorials. I've tried MSNDN or what ever but they are so fucking complicated. I've tried YouTube but those are tutorials on how to make specific things, I want to actually learn the language. I've also tried Google but nothing really good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Do you really think there are programmers in GD who don't go in Programming?
Not sure, but why not try?
:what:
Download a .PDF of a Visual Basic book or something?
Visual Basic will wrap around your head, preventing you from learning anything else.
Also drawing frames and buttons is not programming. VB is a retarded app from drawing windows that generates some of the basic code, then you have ti write some retarded functions.
Learn something else.
BASIC then Pascal, then C++.

For some, that may be the case, but many people are just fine learning two different coding languages, it's pretty much the same as learning more than one speaking language.
Visual basic is basic man.. It's really easy.

Yeah, but you have to learn it first.

Get a book on it. Those are VERY informational.

I actually bought three books for C++, (Not expensive ones, mind you), and all three contained almost the exact same information as I got in web tutorials. Books are great, but always look for PDF tutorials or similar web tuts first.
Sit down and mess with it. No better way to learn than hands on.
What version?
I'm learning VB in school, it's a class.

Yeah me too.
Easy language, if you can't find anything on the web due to how much VB sucks and is ancient, try finding an old textbook on it.

Same, it's fairly simple.
I wouldn't consider it a class at my school though. My teacher just sits on his listening to music and not helping us, also he has a program called vision on our computers in class and shuts down people's computers for no reason and while they're working so they loose all their work...It's bullshit.
