Welcome to the 11th edition of Facepunch's resident style advice thread

We use this thread to compare looks, styles, and fashions, and to put those who don't know in the right on what to wear

Here are some basic posting guidelines

Make sure your criticism is constructive: If you don't like how someone dresses, tell them why. Don't just say it looks like shit.

Respect others' outfits: While you can post constructive criticism, please try and stay civil about it. Obviously there will be some "comedy" posts in here, but for those who are actually trying, just keep your cool.

And, linking into the last one.. Stay civil: Just try not to be too scathing in your criticism, and if you feel the need to make an angry post, it's best to wait a few minutes and see if you still feel that way.

Style guide basics

Rule 1: Always make sure your clothes fit well. Nothing can ruin a good outfit more than badly fit clothes.
Rule 2: Less loud, more subtle. Try to avoid loud colors or garish designs unless you're damn sure about what you're doing.
Rule 1A: NO FEDORAS
Rule 5: 9 times out of 10, black mannequin = stay the fuck away

Hygiene advice

While I'm pretty sure you know how to bathe yourself, there are some additional guidelines.

1: Unless you're damn sure about what you're doing, try to stay clean shaven.
2: You will always look better with short hair. Cut off that lion's mane and let your inner gentleman ~shine~ (and no, your forehead/eyebrows/ears aren't too big)
3: Acne, while more or less unavoidable, is an eyesore. If you see that shit starting up, you'd best do something about it.
4: Find a good cologne, and stick with it. Everyone will like you more if you smell better.

Off White tee is surprisingly good quality, prolly best quality tee I've worn, only problem is the sleeves flare out a bit but I can probably get that fixed at a tailor

Chuck IIs. I've on-and-off liked chucks forever, never owned any, but I really like the way the II cleans up the design. Remind me of Ramones tbh. [I]So[/I] comfortable.

Levi's 501s. It's pretty hard to find unfaded denim so I was stoked to find these medium stonewash ones (still on the hunt for light stonewash). I bought them thinking I'd wear them cuffed but the length is actually pretty nice for a lowtop sneaker.

Coat is second hand but was originaly bough from H&M, in-house brand.
Vest from H&M, in-house brand.
Shirt from Carlings, in-house brand as well.
Jeans from Carlings as well, Levi's.

Probably gonna have my hair in a bun for the entire day but might just put some jewelry in it to snaz it all up.
Over all, pretty happy with these finds and they compliment eachother extremely well, atleast in my opinion.
