I bought Dead Rising 2 yesterday and when I launched it Games For Windows Live told me to update. I clicked yes but the update failed, I just shrugged it off not thinking it was important. But today my friend asked me to play co-op with him, and it wouldn't let me sign into live without updating. I've tried to update multiple times, I've verified my files on Steam, re-installed GFWL, and restarted my computer. Anybody know how to solve this?
Here's a picture of the error message.

I went to the website it suggested but I couldn't find any help.
Try uninstalling Hamachi, if you have it installed, and make sure you have .Net Framework 3.5 and 3.5 SP1 installed as well.

I have .Net Framework installed, should I uninstall and get 3.5?

No, just get 3.5, it doesn't replace the others.

Sorry for not replying, I had things to do. I tried installing .Net framework 3.5, but nothing happened when I clicked the installer. I also tried installing the 3.5 SP1 but it said "setup error" and nothing else. Any ideas?
