I love remote control stuff, after getting into cars I moved onto planes now I have moved onto multi-copters. Multicopters are like helicopter but can range from three motors to eight. What you get is a super stable platform that is extremely acrobatic and can lift a whole load of stuff. A few of mine. This is my QUAD copter, four motors and is by far my favourite one. This was one of the first ones I (my dad) built. This one is mine and has been through hell and still flies perfectly and amazingly. Metal from a DIY shop with some motors on and a Wii remote gyro sensor in the middle to help stabilise it, although it doesn't make it EASY To fly. This is it during the day. UFO reports in my area are high. :) Here is the "Spyder" otherwise known as the Hexocopter, this is my second Multi-copter. It has only recently been built and the wires still need hiding. A tri-copter, this is a foldable one, it can be packed away and squeezed into a bag and if it takes a hit the arms just bend back and nothing breaks. Ha that video is just awesome
Really nice syncing to the lyrics of this video! Awesome machines sir, keep up the awesome.
Didn't topgear use a quad copter for this?: RC Copters are fucking cool.
Everything about this is awesome.
I wish i knew how to make these, looks so fun :(
Hey OP, are there any guides for beginners on how to get started with this?
Are these hard to fly? If not, how much does one set me back if I make it myself?
I used to be into RC, started with parkflyers, moved onto fuel models and this 25% scale RV-4 that I had, ended up doing FPV flight and trying to learn GPS guidance before it got too expensive and I lost interest. Ended up selling everything :( I made this little handheld receiver and mounted all my FPV shit onto a parkflyer, all this new multicoptor stuff seems interesting as hell, seems way more stable then anything else I've seen fly
Reminds me of that thread some guy had made about flying RC airplanes with VR goggles. This video is great. Makes me want to get into it.
Scheveningen much ^^
Wow. That vid is totally awesome.
I want one of these that have a camera built in, so I can buzz around the neighborhood with it. How easy is it to fly a Multi-Copter btw?
attach a ram to one and go around destroying sandcastles
i do believe at 3:40 that chick is free nipping
Can you strap a Nikon to it?
Hey OP, are there any guides for beginners on how to get started with this?
There are a few guides to making your own or you can buy them pre-built http://www.kkmulticopter.com/ I really really really don't recommend buying a pre-built one. Building one your self you know exactly what has gone into it and you have much chance of fixing it. Also home made can cost less then 30 dollars, pre-built are hugely expensive.
Can you strap a Nikon to it?
Depends on the weight, the Quad lifts up half a litre of coke while the tri-copter carries a security camera and a HD hero. These thing's can lift a lot.
Reminds me of that thread some guy had made about flying RC airplanes with VR goggles. This video is great. eheheheh she covers up her boobs when she sees your drone
i do believe at 3:40 that chick is free nipping
I do believe you are correct.
Try find the couple going for it on the hill ;)

-Snip, looking through other thread for answers-
