I know dubstep is famous for "the drop", but I have a different view of it. The thing I like about dubstep the most is the bass, I just can't enjoy a song without it. Most of the time when I hear a new song, I really like the beginning, but when the "drop" hits, the song looses it's structure and becomes something else.
Here are some songs that don't have "the drop":

this is like thrash metal without the riff
more like deathcore without the breakdown
[sp]better[/sp]
I prefer a constant flow when I'm listening to music and I feel that drops (and breakdowns) tend to fuck with the flow of a song. Unless I'm listening to mathcore or something in which case I love when it's fucking everywhere lol
I dislike dubstep as it is, but without the drop it just leaves it boring in my opinion. But each to their own
Burial and James Blake

nice try but James Blake is not dubstep. At least I wouldn't call it that.
Its like House music without the bass :v:
:(
dubstep ruins good tunes.
Some of them got a "drop" but nothing like you would dislike.. I think, hope
BTW, i totally agree with the drop thingy. I like em smooth
