Calling loved ones, for instance. I think tweeting pictures might be up for consideration. Shawna Redden was one of 118 passengers on board Southwest flight 812 from Phoenix to Sacramento last night when, for unknown reasons, a six-foot hole ripped into the top of the plane. Not quite there with Lost, but anyway. Cabin pressure dropped rapidly and oxygen masked dropped, and the crew was forced to make an emergency landing in Yuma, Arizona. For Redden's part, she tweeted pictures during the emergency and managed to keep her followers informed as the plane made a rapid but safe descent. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. Yuma International Airport director Craig Williams assured the AP that these things "are rare, but not unheard of," and air travel remains one of the safest forms of travel. Still, if Redden's blog post is anything to go by, I might be a little spooked. Whenever I've been on a plane, they always tell you to turn mobiles off. Maybe this is what caused the hole in the first place
Access Denied.
working on it [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline]
Who cares
Lets put you on a plane with a gap letting your air rush out. Tell me you wouldn't want to tell all your friends. And tell me its not traumatizing to kids if there were kids on that plane. And lets not forget Aloha Flight 243. The only fatality was flight attendant C.B. Lansing who was blown out of the airplane. :911:
I really don't see what the problem is. If I was in the same situation I would probably take photos and upload them to the internet as well.
A video would have been much more exciting.

He said "Who cares" That Southwest plane could of turned out to be another Aloha 243. Luckily it didn't :unsmith:
Worst day to be flying on Southwest today. I've had to wait an extra 7 hours.
Holy shit that emergency landing was in my city. I love how I'm always afraid of planes crashing here and I didn't even hear about this :v:
A video would have been much more exciting.
I would have started making a 3d render of the situation
Wow even when their plane ruptures at FL360 and goes into a nose dive people don't stop clicking away on their phones

Perfectly clean, outlined in blood

I'd try to find a cute and sexy flight attendant to make love to. Don't they wear high heels and stockings? At least stockings?
I'm sorry, but I just laughed.
Heh, there is an actual picture of the outline of her head, I just can't find it at the moment [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline] Just above left of the window nearest the right side of the damage
Is there a wikipedia article on that?

Lets see. If I'm about to die, what should I do. I think I'd Tweet pics.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-8fpfWBD9k 9:35 and onwards continuing on the next part of the documentary
It would make sense to Tweet photos. If the plane crashed and all aboard died, it could help an investigation.
my plane just blew up lol xoxo
if i was ever in a flight emergency over new york then i'd probably stab both the pilots and crash the plane into the world trade center memorial just to make history
I would have started making a 3d render of the situation
I would have painted it. [editline]2:36 AM[/editline] like this
[img_thumb]http://www.popularmechanics.com/cm/popularmechanics/images/Z0/aloha-737-wreck-0807.jpg[/img_thumb] At this point, why bother inflating the "stairs"? Just tell people to please exit the plane to their left, or right, respectively.
