Governmentally sanctioned ad hominem.
Don't you americans have a revolution to push through?
porn KILLS
so much for bill clinton getting a job in office ever again
Hey guys, lets totally use our borderline illegal internet snooping to make politically-motivated moves and discredit people. It won't be a bad idea at all.
Porn, the thing that everyone uses, but not as many talk about it.

I think we should get a damn mob together, walk down to that NSA data center they're building, and break their shit.

It's too rainy and windy out. I'll try another day.
Some guy somewhere at the NSA said they could possibly maybe bring to light two radical Islamists' porn use: and they didn't

Well I suppose if the mass-spying on their own population isn't enough I suppose this isn't either.
I can't see this doing any real damage, and it could end up strengthening the target's base. Imagine this: You have a radical anti-federal homophobe running from Michigan. To discredit her, the NSA reveals that a search of her computer shows very many searches for gay porn.
What is her platform now? She denies that the search results are true, which her followers trust because they already believe that the government is evil and would certainly lie to discredit someone, likely also gaining the support of people who believe the findings were true but find the strategy morally outrageous, then she points to the program as evidence that she needs to be in office to stop such activity. So now you have a strengthened base of people who supported her as well as those who came to her side to support against these kind of character assassinations.
"NSA 'plan to shame web-porn users' "
I'm pretty sure most of these people are without shame in the first place :v:

Who determines what a "radical agenda" is? Who determines that her policies may be damaging to the nation? What happens when a previously sanctioned opinion or way of living becomes unwanted, like, say, homosexuality in Russia? And "it could never happen here" is not a valid argument
Suck my fetish-laden dick, NSA.
Wow, what a bunch of bloody clowns
bring it fuckers i have no shame left
What astonishingly vile cunts. Someone needs to smack them about so hard they forget how to language.
The worst part is not that the US government will try and working on irrelevant shit discredit everyone who shames them. The worst part is that it works.
They use smear tactics also against dissidents like Snowden, Manning or Assange, not only to shame terrorists.

I bet they'd bring up child porn then.
Somebody remind me why I live in this shitty country again.
"Yeah maybe we're invading the fuck out of your privacy, but Snowden once watched a shemale on male video, we're in the right here"
Wouldn't proxies solve this problem?

Because I use proxies.
Guess who hosts the proxies
I actually should of rephrased that to, who funds the proxies.

it won't harm the base, it will harm the individual's ability to convince others if they're painted as sexually deviant

Sign me up!
Seriously? Out of all things they chose this as the method to shame their "dissidents"?
That's childish.
