Why do they call it Half Life 3? Because when you see it, you wait 3 halves of your life and walk away.
Holy shit, I've already booked a ticket to GamesCom. Now I know for sure where I go first.

No we really won't. It will be called Half Life 3, it's been too long to simply push out another short episode.

It must be DOTA2.
I swear i am going to get cryo-genetically frozen to see ep.3 finally released.
My dad works at Valve and he's also a time traveller and he showed me a video of their presentation at GamesCon. Gabe will go up on the stage with a DVD box. We can't quite see what it is, until a camera zooms in and we see that on the box are the words "Episode Three"
As a cheer ripples across the audience, Gabe silently walks over to a desk and places the box down on it. After he steps back, two stagehands walk on with cans of petrol. They begin to douse the desk and the game box. The audience's cheers turn to cries and pleas for them to stop as they realise what is about to happen, but the stagehands calmly continue to pour the petrol over the desk.
After the cans are empty, the stagehands leave, and on the big screen a countdown begins. 10. 9. 8.
For the first time, Gabe speaks.
"I'm very excited..."
7. 6. 5. A mechanical arm holding a flaming torch begins to lower down towards the desk.
"to be here today..."
4. 3. 2.
"to announce..."
1. 0. The flaming torch makes contact with the petrol on the desk. Flames erupt across the desk, and the game box is engulfed in fire.
It is only now that we are made aware of two trails of petrol leading away from the desk in opposite directions. The fire travels along these trails and up the walls next to the stage, where they ignites two huge flaming messages emblazoned across the walls of the room.
The messages and Gabe both say the same thing.
"Left 4 Dead 3"

Half-life 2: Barney's story (also known as Blue shift 2)
Remember when Valve would 'reportedly' be doing something at E3 too ('GLaDOS' listed as a 'speaker' for Microsoft's press conference...) and then they made a surprise showing that saved the train wreck that was Microsoft's conference?
Yeah, me neither. :colbert:
