This game is great. I recommend it 100% to turn-based strategy game fans. Plus, it's in space! Although it can be a little bit boring until you get most of the warfare techs done.
Always wanted this, now's the chance.

Possibly one of the best things about this game is ship customization: It's like CIV in space, absolutely get it if you're into the genre
Best 4x space game next to MoO.

The only thing I don't like about this game is you constantly have to upgrade your ships, weapons/armor doesn't autoupgrade on your model if you have the space. However, when you get the hang of it, I honestly think it's one of the best turn based strategy games out there. I have it on Impulse and am seriously considering buying it again on Steam just because I want to show my support for Stardock and congratulate them on a great game.
I honestly think this game is better than civ 4 it feels more fluid and there in some ways is less buttfuck managment of everything. Desiing own ships is awsome as you can stick to a theme if you like( i once made a race that had warp pylon looking things on all ships my civ had). The AI can be godly smart sometimes and offers a real challenge. I would write a in depth review but im lazy. all im saying is. I have spent 700 hours on this game. Now go out and buy it.
