He was seen removing the baby, who was wearing only a nappy, from the freezer by the mother as she came in, according to the prosecutor's account. Deutsch is accused of taking a phone away when she tried to call for help. No-one is saying there is a sure way to prevent this type of incident occurring as that's how the world works but that doesn't mean we shouldn't just ignore every event that happens.
