I have a little problem here, you see, I accidently broke my keyboard, and I got an old black Microsoft keyboard which is really good, but it doesn't fit a USB, it's one of those colored plugs(green for mouse, purple for keyboard I think). For some reason, my PC doesn't register when I plug it in, is there some way to turn them on? The keyboard itself works fine on other computers.
have the keyboard plugged in when you restart/turn on your PC
PS2 thingys aren't hot-pluggable like USB.
You need to turn it off then plug it in first.
