Cry Of Fear is better.... [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] accidently rated myself :v: instead of the OP
I was seriously not expecting that
It seems the most popular mods are always on the source engine.
It seems the most popular mods are always on the source engine.
Because Source engine is the most flexible engine ever, at least in my opinion it is
Because Source engine is the most flexible engine ever, at least in my opinion it is
Unreal is more flexible than Source.
School Shooter: North American Tour 2012 should have won.
I'm so glad Dear Esther won, what a fantastic mod it's looking to be.
Dear Esther should have never gotten it. It's just a glorified artistic piece of the old Dear Esther.
I don't see why Dear Esther got it either, yes it looks good, but the gameplay looks incredibly boring.

Aw shit, Blade Symphony had Diablo Swing Orchestra playing during it.
No Galactipon? Or Ivan's Secrets? whaaaat
dear esther is amazing. doesn't even look like source
im glad i saw this thread, fucking hexen mod for doom 3 holy shit
Dear Esther's graphics look amazing.
I thought the first Dead Esther was garbage, but that's just me. It felt like a pretentious game that was banking on its artsy aspect to make up for its lack of... everything. The voices were far too quiet, it wasn't clear where to go, the atmosphere was meh, etc etc. Kind of disappointed that this won, but I'll give it a fair show when it's released.
Whatever happened to Black Mesa: Source?
I am vastly disappointed.
Too many FPS games. Not a single RTS or RPG (And believe me, there are good ones that were out there).
Dear Esther is being created by the Environmental Artist of Mirrors Edge. Of course it'll fucking win! Can't wait! [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] Also Nuclear Dawn. [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] http://www.littlelostpoly.co.uk/devblog/?tag=dear-esther [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] What I can't wait for is the atmosphere, that is what this game boasts.
In truth, we all knew Dear Esther was going to win. Look at that. It's an example to Valve. An example of how simple people with the Source SDK can make something look much more realistic, profound and.. tragic, I'd say, than valve ever tried to with the Source Engine.
Whatever happened to Black Mesa: Source?
Award is for upcoming mods, and we all know that BM:S is never coming.
Cry Of Fear is better....
A game I've never played is better than another game I've never played.
Whatever happened to Black Mesa: Source?
Won for two years running previously and never came out.
Award is for upcoming mods, and we all know that BM:S is never coming.
D- dont say that! I kn- know its coming.. We just have to wait.. We just ha-have to wait i know its coming next year i know it! I KNOW IT!

Dear Esther ftw.
Lol where's black mesa source. I'm sure they are raging right now. :v:
Blade Symphony looks fun.
