• Dug an old plaster sculpture from the basement

This is a project I worked on during high school. I found it while digging around the basement, and figured I'd show it to you. The theme we were supposed to follow was, "Self portrait," but I dislike themes, so I did my own thing instead. I set out to make the most fuckin' disturbing thing I could imagine. The end-result was this crucified, cut-in-half, mutilated, dismembered... thing. Don't have time to go much more into it, dad's pushing me out the door. We're going white-water rafting, and we really oughta hit the road ASAP, but I'll be following this from my phone! I'll try and get some better shots of it later.
That's messed up... I can't tell what's what.
That is the artsy-est roadkill I've ever seen! :buddy:
That's kinda creepy
Yeah, it's a bit cluttered. It was a life-size statue of a crucified man with two heads, one of them a bird, but after the deadline his left hand was ripped off under the weight of the rest of the statue, so I did a quick chop-chop and made the dismembered hand cradling the bird head.
Looks pretty bad man. You can't really tell what anything is. It's possible it's just the pictures, but if these are good shots of it then I personally dislike it. It looks like it took a long time and I enjoy the abstract nature of it, but as you said, it's just a bit cluttered.
It's terrifying. I'd like to see a shot of it as a whole in addition to this collection of close-up photos.
