I really hope this isn't a damn letdown like the previous title was! Skirmish mode makes this seem less likely

Not only that but it apparently has co-op castle management.

Though I'm going to remain skeptical because literally every Stronghold game ever since Crusader 1 was crap.

i am not taking my hopes too high, but if they manage to get this right, i may take it for sure, hell i loved the first stronghold (and crusared too), i realy hope this is the time they make a realy good game

Stronghold 3 makes me sick to my stomach. I'm betting this is going to be a great sequel, however

also they're bringing back the grid-based building system

I just hope that they massively improve army management. It was always a huge hassle to control larger masses of forces and planning a proper attack. Also they always clipped together and it looked so horrible and was pretty immersion breaking. I still remember hundreds of troops just being in a tiny square and duking it out, with the animations messing all up.
